At an extraordinary meeting, the ETH Board today debated ETH Zurich’s request to dismiss a professor at the former Institute of Astronomy.
Berne, 29 March 2019 – At an extraordinary meeting, the ETH Board today debated ETH Zurich’s request to dismiss a professor at the former Institute of Astronomy. The ETH Board will now provide the person concerned with an opportunity to state her position with regard to ETH Zurich’s request. Furthermore, the ETH Board will have the reproaches concerning governance, the distribution of financial resources and gender equality reviewed extramurally.
The extraordinary meeting also provided the ETH Board with an opportunity to discuss ETH Zurich’s measures for the improvement of the management and supervision situation. The ETH Board supports the package of measures for the improvement of processes and structures that has already been initiated by the President and the Executive Board of ETH Zurich.
