At its meeting of 5/6 March, the ETH Board took note of the decision of the President of ETH Zurich, Joël Mesot, not to stand for a third term of office, and appointed Annette Oxenius as the new member of the Executive Board of ETH Zurich.

The ETH Board appointed a total of nine women and nine men as professors and awarded the title of professor to six individuals and the title of Professor of Practice to two individuals. It also took note of the resignation of eight professors and thanked them for their services.

At its meeting of 4/5 December 2024, the ETH Board reached a decision in principle on the organisational development project "FIT for the Future" and issued mandates for its continued implementation.

The ETH Board appointed a total of three women and seven men as professors and awarded the title of professor to eight individuals and the title of Professor of Practice to two individuals. It also took note of the resignation of eleven professors and thanked them for their services.

The new members of the Executive Board have been appointed in connection with the inauguration of the new President of EPFL, Anna Fontcuberta i Morral, as of 1 January 2025.

At its meeting on 10-11 July 2024, the ETH Board approved a threefold increase in tuition fees for foreign Bachelor's and Master's degree students who move to Switzerland to study at ETH Zurich or EPFL. It is thus taking account of the clearly expressed positions and votes on this topic in Parliament.

The Federal Council reappointed ETH Board president Michael Hengartner, its vice president Pascale Bruderer and all current board members.
