President’s Office and Staff of the ETH Board

The President’s Office of the ETH Board is responsible for preparation and follow-up of the ETH Board’s activities and makes the decisions assigned to it by the rules of procedure. With the support of the staff, it ensures that the ETH Board is able to fulfil its strategic governing and supervisory function. The ETH Board makes decisions on its activities in accordance with the principle of collegiality. 

The staff of the ETH Board is divided up into different units (see organisational chart), is led by the Executive Director and works closely with the ETH Domain’s institutions and the federal authorities.
